About Us

Midlife Horse Girl-My Story

My passion for horses began as a young child with my grandfather’s horse Pedro but I didn’t get my own horse, Cowboy, until i was in my 40’s. I chased endurance dreams, survived the Camp Fire, and then a dismounting accident in 2019 compressed my L3 vertebrae. Although I was medically cleared to ride in just 11 weeks-the mental fear and loss of confidence lasted much longer, “Cowgirl up” no longer worked.

The Crossroads

Rather than walk away from an integral part of myself – heart and soul – I chose to discover and create another way.

This decision led to the Cinch Method – a thoughtful approach that starts with the human, weaving together knowledge, strong fundamentals and deep understanding for both horse and human, while building real partnership, confidence and connection.

This method changed everything for me, and now it helps horse girls of all ages – whether you’re starting a young horse or restarting an older one. You’re in the right spot.
